During our family vacation in Gredos, we had a wonderful stay at the Hostal, which truly catered to families. Juanfran, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He shared some off-the-map hiking routes that our kids, aged 10 and 12, absolutely loved. It's so refreshing to find a place that welcomes children of all ages; I appreciated the inclusive atmosphere for our little ones under 2. Breakfast was hearty and just what we needed before our daily adventures. We also enjoyed our dinners, which were hearty and perfect for fueling our hikes rather than a fine dining experience. The surrounding area is great for outdoor activities, and the guest house also offers bike hire, which added a fun twist to our outings. This place struck a lovely balance between comfort and adventure, making it an ideal spot for families looking to explore the natural beauty of the North side of the Gredos. Highly recommend it!
